Medical Students

Dedicated USMLE study time is coming! Do you have the tools to succeed?🔨

As the school year nears its end, second-year medical students are gearing up to take the USMLE Step 1📝.

I've already created hours of content like my USMLE Step 1 High Yield Images and USMLE Step 1 Buzzwords video series to help make the studying a little easier🙏🏼.

This week on rounds though, I wanted to share 7 tips I came up with to help students be successful on Step 1✅.

These helpful tips are listed below but check out my full video discussing them to make sure you get all of the information!

7 Essential Tips for USMLE Step 1 Success:

  1. Read First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 alongside medical school classes📕
  2. Do as many UWorld questions as possible🌐
  3. Actively review UWorld questions incorporating other study resources🦠
  4. Keep a concept journal of missed key points📘
  5. Simulate test day conditions🖥️
  6. Do some studying in small groups🤝
  7. Take regular and frequent breaks😌

And that's it!

Over the next few months I'll be posting more prep content and study tips, so be sure you are subscribed to the Sunday Morning Rounds Newsletter as well as my YouTube channel to make sure you get all of it.

Happy studying!🤓
